People's Republic Of China Consulate Offices, Sydney

Reid Campbell were engaged as Architect and Principal Coordinating Consultant for the construction of a diverse mix of buildings as integral components of a new diplomatic enclave, the first of its kind within the inner Sydney suburbs.

The Consular component of the complex included a three storey office with conference facilities and a substantial visa processing facility servicing the increasing public demand for tourism and business entry into the People’s Republic of China.

The focal point of the building is a large formal courtyard addressing the main entry portico, the main office building and the formal entry to the Consul General’s residence.
